Cultural Advancement Grant Program (ADV)

FY 2012–2013 is an interim review year; currently designated Cultural Advancement organizations are eligible for renewed funding upon review and approval of the required interim application.

Provides significant grants and technical assistance to a designated group of Miami-Dade County's mid to large size, artistically excellent and culturally diverse performing, visual, literary and presenting arts organizations. Qualifying organizations are engaged year-round in the creation or presentation of art, within or across artistic fields and disciplines, and demonstrate the potential to achieve regional, national, or international visibility as evidenced by current artistic programs and management structure.

CATEGORY A: Provides grants to professional, mid to large size arts organizations for the year-round creation or presentation of art. Applicants must have a historical organizational budget over $500,000.

CATEGORY B: Operates as an institute-type program providing grants, marketing and management assistance to semi-professional and professional, mid-size arts organizations with a historical organizational budget between $200,000 and $500,000.
